Stand-Up Comedy in Windsor – Feb. 24, 2024

“A Detroit-Windsor Night of laughs on tap”

A special night of comedy is happening on Saturday, February 24 in Ford City with a portion of the proceeds from the show being donated to the Amherstburg Freedom Museum.

Date: Saturday, February 24, 2024
Time: Show starts at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m.
Location: Club 9 Banquet Hall (1457 Drouillard Rd., Windsor)
Tickets: $20 online, $25 at the door (cash only)

The live stand-up comedy show will feature talented comedians with ties to the Detroit area. Host Shawn Townsend grew up in Detroit, but currently calls Windsor, ON his home. For our feature comedian, Bella Hugley is originally from Detroit and is looking forward to a homecoming for fans and friends, as she flys in from Georgia. Hugley has a quick wit, infectious energy, and a knack for finding humor in everyday situations. Tiffany “T.Barb” Barber is a comedian and actress who quit her 14 year social work career to pursue her dreams. Her hilarious stand up, online commentaries, skits and monologues keep her fans thoroughly entertained.

“We want to provide an outlet for Windsor comedians to perform in front of larger audiences, along with having the opportunity to work with stand-up comedy headliners from across Canada and the United States at a first class venue,” Mark Olejniczak, co-organizer and president of SidelinetoStage.com pointed out.
