Claressa Shields dominated Maricela Cornejo enroute to a 10 round majority decision at the first ever boxing card held at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on June 3, 2023.
Shields consistently landed power punches every round and put on a show for her hometown crowd. With the victory, Shields remained the undefeated and undisputed middleweight champion of the world.
